Support
Every Scooter we hire comes with a full support package, but there are things YOU can do to insure
you wont suffer any inconvenience. Please read and understand your instructions for your Scooter.
Batteries account for 45% of support call out's, most of these are due to not charging the Scooter long enough or at all.
It must also be born in mind, that any distances quoted for your Scooter are calculated on a flat & level test. Any climbing of inclines or hills will dramatically reduce the battery's charge & therefore available distance.
Some Scooters will just refuse to climb the hill at all, a further 20% of call out's are due to problems with hills.
If you have any questions about hills or safety on hills please don't hesitate to ask!
Rescue
In the event of a puncture, accident or breakdown please phone us at once, if you are involved in
an accident with a person or other vehicle and the owner can't be found you will have to contact the police.
Please gather a couple of witnesses together with names and addresses of all parties involved.
Normally it will be necessary to travel from Brighton to attend support calls, depending on the circumstances we will usually get you home by taxi, attend the scooter and deliver it back to you.
All of our Scooters have names, by quoting the name we are able to get access to all your rental
details & phone number. Just quote Scooter name + location & we will find you!
We will always come out & rescue you should you suffer a breakdown, BUT should the cause of the
breakdown subsequently be found to be due to incorrectly or uncharged batteries or user error. we
will have to charge for our services.
This charge will be calculated on time / distance. Should you suffer a puncture or your batteries develop a fault or you scooter malfunction for any other reason there will of course be no charge!
We do TRY to carry a spare at all times, so if it can't be fixed we will replace it.
Access
We can advise on all aspects of access issues, from ramping up to steps to alterations inside
your property, including disabled bathrooms and level access showers. These internal alterations are carried out by trusted contractors.
